Westbrook Int. Band Boosters

The Westbrook Intermediate Band Booster Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and our purpose is to support the Westbrook Intermediate Band Program through volunteer service and financial assistance. To achieve this goal, it takes many dedicated volunteers all working together as a team throughout the year. The help of each band member’s family is needed to provide the necessary support for a successful band program.

Our Band Booster Club gives you an opportunity to get involved with your children and to show them that you care about their musical interests. Club members are given opportunities to serve as chaperones for the trips, events, and contests throughout the year. We assist the band directors in planning and running various social activities such as the lock-in and pool party.

One of the most important contributions to our children’s band experience is financial. Our annual dues and fund-raisers provide the money to purchase Westbrook band equipment and provide for band activities not covered financially by the school district. Last year we purchased instruments, paid for clinicians and contest entry fees, helped fund the beginner pool party, and continued our support of the private lesson financial aid fund.
