Teaching Responsibilities
Jane Janda Maloy is in her eighth year as the head band director at Westbrook Intermediate School in Clear Creek ISD and 14th year overall of teaching. Before coming to Westbrook, Mrs. Maloy was the head band director at Manvel Junior High in Alvin ISD from 2015-2019. She began her career as an assistant director at Dueitt Middle School in Spring ISD and Grisham Middle School in Round Rock ISD. She currently conducts the Symphonic Band and has received consecutive sweepstakes at the varsity and non-varsity level. She’s presented clinics at Texas Music Educators Association and been invited to conduct region band and band camps across the state of Texas.
She graduated from Texas Tech University with her Bachelors of Music Education in 2011 and Masters of Music Education in 2017 under the tutelage of Dr. Keith Dye. She's a proud alumnus of Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps and an active member of New Hope Lutheran Church. She currently resides in Clear Lake with her husband and college marching band sweetheart, Jim Maloy and their two young sons: Elwood and Finn.
She directs the Symphonic Band, assists the Honor Band, and teaches beginner trumpet, french horn, and low brass classes.
Her professional memberships include the Texas Music Educators Association and Texas Bandmasters Association.

Martin Andrada is in his eighth year of teaching at Clear Creek ISD as the Associate Band Director at Westbrook Intermediate School. He directs the Honor Band, assists with Concert Band and Symphonic Band, and teaches beginner flute, clarinet, and saxophone classes. His bands have received consistent sweepstakes at UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluations.
Mr. Andrada is from Pearland, TX. He graduated from Pearland High School and holds a bachelor's degree in music education and psychology from the University of Houston. He also earned a master’s degree in educational administration from Lamar University.
While at the University of Houston, he studied clarinet and bass clarinet under Mr. Chester Rowell, retired from the Houston Ballet, and was a member of the Moores School of Music Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and Opera Orchestra.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling abroad and exploring different countries. As an active performer, he serves as the bass clarinet and utility clarinetist for the Houston Civic Symphony and the Texas Medical Center Orchestra.
His professional memberships include the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA), International Clarinet Association (ICA), and Texas Bandmasters Association (TBA).

Mrs. Rogers has been teaching band for twenty two years and comes to Westbrook from Brookside Intermediate. She directs the Concert Band, assists with the Honor Band, teaches the beginner double reeds, and beginner low brass classes. Her bands have received consistent sweepstakes at UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluations.
She is an active clinician and adjudicator in the Houston area and is a freelance musician who plays trumpet regularly with the Arpeggio Brass quintet. Mrs. Rogers has been a guest writer for the Smart Music Blog, the Band Directors Talk Shop blog, and the Southwestern Musician. She graduated from Sam Houston State University and also marched soprano in the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps. Jennifer is married to Bryan Rogers, and they have two daughters named Susanna and Caroline.
Teaching Responsibilities
Mr. Norris is currently the Associate Band Director at Clear Brook High School. His responsibilities include overseeing the percussion program, assisting with the concert bands, and teaching beginner percussion classes and sectionals at Brookside and Westbrook Intermediate Schools.
Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Mr. Norris holds a master's degree in music performance from the University of Akron, as well as a bachelor's degree in music performance from Eastern Illinois University. While pursuing his music degrees, Mr. Norris was a member of the 1996 Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corp and also served as the Director of the University of Akron Marching Zips drumline.
Prior to teaching at Clear Brook High School, Mr. Norris taught in the Fort Bend, Pearland, and Alvin Independent School Districts. Mr. Norris' teaching credits include eight Texas Color Guard Circuit State Championships, three silver medal finishes in Open Class at the Winter Guard International Championships and multiple UIL Sweepstakes awards. In 2016, Mr. Norris was inducted into the Texas Color Guard Circuit Hall of Fame.
Mr. Norris is an active member of the Percussive Arts Society, Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and is an educational endorser for Pro Mark, Remo Inc., and the Pearl Corporation.
